Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute, a principle-centered multi-site cataract and refractive surgery co-management center, seeks a full-time medical optometric physician for our surgical facility in Kennewick, WA. PCLI has 18 surgery facilities located in 6 states – Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Alaska, and New Mexico. This position will require some overnight travel to multiple PCLI offices in the Pacific Northwest (mainly in Washington state).

Company-wide, PCLI provides a unique work environment with a strong team approach between 40+ staff ODs and 17 surgeons. We do not provide primary care, vision exams, contact lenses, or eyeglasses. Instead, we support community ODs with cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and medical consults. PCLI actively supports scope-of-practice expansion, and our ODs practice at the highest level of their training and licensure.

Requirements

• Clinically skilled and residency trained, or the equivalent ocular disease and surgical co-management experience
• Solid leadership skills with a passion for helping others
• Highly motivated and a self-starter who will expand our presence
• An excellent communicator who enjoys working with a team
• In addition to having exceptional clinical skills, job duties include lecturing within the optometric community and involvement with professional organizations.
