$600 per day

Ocean Park Optometry, a thriving, ultra-modern private practice in beautiful Santa Monica, is seeking a locum tenens optometrist to fill in Thursday, October 9 through Saturday, October 11, 2025.

Schedule:

Thursday, Oct 9: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM (1 hr lunch)
Friday, Oct 10: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM (1 hr lunch)
Saturday, Oct 11: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30 min lunch)

Our Technology & Systems:

Officemate/Examwriter EMR (integrated and efficient)
Topcon automated phoropter (fully integrated with EMR)
Optomap and OCT imaging (with in-room image review)
In-office team messaging for smooth patient handoff
Scope of Care:
While our practice offers specialties including myopia management, orthokeratology, scleral lenses, dry eye therapies, and NeuroVisual Medicine, duties for this fill-in role will focus primarily on comprehensive eye care.

Support System:

Two comprehensive exam slots per hour
Technicians perform all pretesting
Opticians receive handoff directly in the exam room
Friendly team culture (our clinical team wears scrubs)
Training available for all systems & equipment
 
Compensation
$600 per day
Paid at the end of the assignment
 
Future Opportunities: Based on performance and team fit, this locum position may lead to consideration for a permanent associate role.
