Associate Dean for Academic Affairs-Rosenberg School of Optometry

The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas invites candidates for Associate Dean for Academic Affairs-Rosenberg School of Optometry.  Position is responsible for the overall administration of the academic programs of the Rosenberg School of Optometry (RSO). The Associate Dean provides leadership and strategic oversight of academic policies, drives curriculum design, and assesses outcomes to ensure alignment with institutional goals. The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs-RSO reports to the Dean, Rosenberg School of Optometry.

Requirements

Doctor of Optometry Degree.

Ten (10) years of post-graduate experience as an administrator in a school or college of optometry.
Five (5) years of experience supervising professional level faculty and staff.
Current valid licensure as an Optometrist in the State of Texas with glaucoma certification OR eligible for said licensure with certification and willingness to obtain within 6 months of assignment.
